on my way into work this morning...

I had to laugh at the different situations i faced this morning on my way into work.

First thing was a woman standing outside in her sweats with a scrunchie in her hair. What was funny was her hair was in a pony tail on the side. Remember the 80's???

Next situation was when i passed the local greenhouse and a man was picking up a small tree to load into his vehicle. When he did the top hit his wife in the head.
This humored me for some reason.

Then i get behind a truck that has two jack russell terriers in the front but they are turned around facing me the whole time. Dogs make me laugh no matter what they are doing.

Then finally the guy at the gas station tried to get me to vote for Kerry. Now THAT is funny.

I don't know which was worse

A couple comes into my office yesterday asking for homes in the $150,000 range. I tell them about mine that is for sale. We chit chat for a few minutes when my father pipes up and says "Why don't you just take them out there now since you're done working for the day anyway" gritting my teeth I say "ok".
As I'm showing them the house I realize there are 4 count them 4 baskets of laundry sitting at the base of the stairs that they had to step over to get up the stairs. Of course my sassy underwear is laying on top in plain view for all to see. It gets better...
While walking through the bedroom upstairs I turn in horror to realize all of my bras are hanging up in my closet facing me. I feel like these people know me more on a personal level now. They know what type of panties and bras I wear. I don't even know their name.

I'm a Scrapbooking Whore

I drool over this:

I would cut my left arm off if i could attend this:
What could be better than combining my two favorite things in life?

I just spent WAY too much money at this store:

Life would be complete if i won this from DIY NETWORK:

You also win $10,000. Do you realize how many stickers that can buy?

My Amazing Race Partner

While watching the finale of one of my favorite shows last night I begin to think of who I would want to be my partner in this amazing race. I laughed as I thought of the possibilities of each team.

MM & MDad: MDad would never let me try any of the obstacles that might seem *dangerous* in fear that his *little girl* might hurt herself. Therefore he would probably kill himself trying to do everything.

MM & MOlderBrother: We would be arguing from the start and wouldn't hear Jeff (Host) yell "GO" and miss the whole race.

MM & MYoungerBrother: He's the type that if we were in first place fixing to run to the finish line he would stop and let the team behind us go first because he's just so gosh darn nice!

MM & MSisterinLaw: She's competitive but I would look like Shamu the whale next to her because she's tiny. We can't have that. Must look good for the fans.

MM & MMom: She's a maybe. Scared of heights but can be feisty.

So it came down to my MMan: We would make the best team. Sure we would fight but it would make for good t.v. Besides, I wouldn't want to share that experience with anyone But him.

Little snot...

There is this girl that I went to school with who just rented one of our rental bays to put a children's store in. Well she likes to bounce down to my office in her size 2 jeans and ask me really stupid questions. It pisses me off because it just makes me feel huge and ugly. Bah! Now i'm in a pissy mood.

Chonda and Sandi

I went here last night. I laughed so hard my jaws were hurting. They were both amazing and hilarious. If you've never seen them i suggest it highly.

Men are not welcomed. :)

My Christmas List

Since I've been in the Christmas mood here lately I thought it would be a good idea to start my wish list. I've decided though that the one thing I want is time to myself. So, Santa, please give me time.

Time to take a nap as long as I want.
Time to sleep in and get up when *I* want to.
Time to scrapbook. All day if I want with no interruptions.
Time to have one day at home by myself so I can go and do as I please.

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas...

Ya, it's 90 degrees out but they're starting to put the Christmas stuff out in stores. That can only mean one thing...Christmas is within the next 6 months. Oh how this excites me. Not only Christmas but Thanksgiving. I just love this time of year. Now if Mother Nature would cooperate and give me the cool, crisp, air I've been begging before it would just make everything perfect.

I want to come home and sit by the fire at night.
I want to make soup for dinner!
I want to bake cookies!
I want to Christmas shop and find the perfect gift.
I want to wear my jeans and sweaters.
I want to be able to walk outside and not break a sweat just walking to the car.
I want to take MB Here .
I want to get ready for our cruise

I want it and I want it now!

It took 6 years and a baby...

I have a friend that I met on a wedding board over 6 years ago. We begin emailing because we were getting married the same day. A friendship started and we have been friends ever since. She lives in Oklahoma. We have kept in touch by emails, cards, and even a video or two but we have never spoken on the phone until tonight. She just had a baby last week and I called to give my congrats and left a message on the machine. She called me back tonight. When I got off the phone MM asked me if it was weird talking to her. My reply, No, it was just like talking to an old friend. Nothing weird about it.
So I ask myself...why did it take us 6 years to pick up the phone and call?

Dear Ebay,

Dear Ebay,
I love you. You bring me joy like no other thing around. I love it when i can hear the money you've brought me being deposited into my account. I love it when i find the perfect item i've been looking for right on your little site. I love it when i sell something for three times the amount i paid for it.

I love you.

Killing 4 birds with one stone

While surfing last night, I started reading one my friend's blogs. I had to laugh at her description of Walmart. I agree with everything she says but I've learned to deal with it because there's not much in this one horse town to chose from. Our Wally World is brand new which makes it 10x better. It's clean at least. Ya, you still have freaky people but you learn to just ram them with your buggy and move onto where you are going. So, yesterday we headed to the "Mountain Mall" to get MB's pictures made. After that MB started to get hungry so we ventured over to the McDonalds that was located in the store to feed the little guy. After that we proceeded to do our grocery shopping and pick up some items for the house. Now you tell me where else can you accomplish 4 task like that without ever leaving the store? :)
